No dojo stands alone.
Traditional martial arts survive as a community or they do not survive at all. These are the clubs we train alongside, the association we insure and grade through, and the teachers our Aikido came from.

Aikido or not, a healthy martial arts scene is good for everyone. Aikido does not suit every person or every week of a person's life, and there is no sense pretending otherwise. If you are looking for a different art — something harder, something with competition, something for a child who wants to spar — start with our neighbours rather than with a search engine.
This club was started by Master Pat Stratford (8th Dan) and handed onto his students Dr Furrukh Aslam and Tariq Aslam to continue learning, adapting and imparting knowledge and skill.

We founded the association "Aikido Ouka-Jyuku Darmstadt eV" in 2018 to train and promote the non-violent martial art of Aikido together. We follow the teachings of Hiroshi Ikeda Shihan .
